about the wishmakers ride

The Wishmakers Ride, is more than just a motorcycle fundraiser — it’s a passion-driven movement born from a lifelong love of motorcycle racing like MotoGP or  Women’s World Circuit Racing and a desire to give back to the community.

The Wishmakers Ride raises funds for two incredible causes:

The Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Canadian/American Spinal Research Organization (CSRO/ASRO).

Make-A-Wish grants life-changing wishes to children facing critical illnesses. The Sportbike community believes there are many young fans out there just like the founder of this ride who dream of one day meeting their racing heroes or experiencing the world of motorcycle racing, up close and personally, just like he did.

The CSRO/ASRO funds research into spinal cord injuries, inspired by racers like Wayne Rainey, whose career and life changed in an instant. Their work helps individuals recover and adapt after serious injury — something deeply connected to the motorcycle and racing communities.

The goal of this ride is to raise enough money to one day send critically il kids to meet their motorcycle racing heros as well as unite riders who love motorcyles like sportbikes and that enjoy, MotoGP, Women’s World Circuit Racing, WorldSBK and all grassroots motorcycle racing at the club level — and show the world all the good that this passionate community can do.

It's for Sportbike riders and motorcycle racing enthusiasts alike, as the founder of this fundraising ride, grew up idolizing legendary riders like Wayne Rainey, Kevin Schwantz, Mick Doohan and many other riders of the 80's and 90's era of racing. Watching MotoGP as a kid (or 500cc Grand Prix racing, as it was known as back then) filled him with joy and inspiration — the kind of magic that only motorcycle racing at the highest level can deliver. Today, the community of this fundraiser rides not only for the thrill, but also to give that same sense of hope and excitement to others who need it most.

The community hopes to grow The Wishmakers Ride into a worldwide movement, with events in cities and countries across the globe. For now, it's small — but it’s full of heart. Every ride, every dollar, and every rider helps move this dream forward.

Join us to ride for hope, for healing, and for the love of motorcycle racing.
